PLC Programming for Industrial Automation
Back to ServicesProgram Description
This program develops participants’ practical competency in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for industrial automation applications. Participants learn PLC architecture and operation, digital input/output systems, programming logic, sequence control, program testing, commissioning, and systematic troubleshooting through hands-on exercises based on industrial automation cases.
Method
Instructor-led technical sessions, demonstrations, guided programming exercises, PLC simulation, hands-on practice with PLC hardware, industrial case studies, and competency-based practical assessment.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of electrical and industrial control systems.
Basic understanding of digital logic and control circuits.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with technical diagrams are recommended.
Target Participants
Automation engineers, control engineers, electrical engineers, maintenance technicians, production technicians, machine operators, vocational teachers/instructors, and engineering personnel involved in industrial automation.
Learning Output
Participants are able to develop, test, operate, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation applications, including configuring basic I/O, implementing sequential control logic, commissioning the control system, and identifying common programming and operational faults.
Program Advantages
The program combines PLC programming fundamentals with hands-on industrial automation applications, enabling participants to build practical programming skills while developing the systematic logic, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities required for reliable automated machine operation.
