Workplace Trainer Certification Program

Program Description

This competency-based certification program prepares Workplace Trainers (Pelatih Tempat Kerja/PTK) to systematically guide workplace learners or apprentices based on competency standards. The program supports the implementation of Sistem Industri Ganda (SIGL) by developing trainers' capability to plan, deliver, and evaluate workplace learning, manage the training process, provide coaching and feedback, apply occupational safety principles, and conduct competency-based assessment according to industry needs.

Method

Blended learning consisting of instructor-led training, workshops, workplace training simulations, industry-based case studies, competency assessment practice, and direct coaching and feedback from facilitators.

Requirements

Participants should have industrial work experience, understand the work processes within their respective units, and have a current or potential role in guiding workplace learners or apprentices.

Target Participants

Workplace Trainer candidates, Production Supervisors/Leaders, HR or Training Officers in industry, and internal company instructors who are responsible or potentially responsible for workplace training and apprenticeship guidance.

Learning Output

Participants are able to perform the role of a professional Workplace Trainer by identifying workplace training needs, developing a competency-based training program, preparing a structured lesson plan, delivering effective workplace training, applying K3 principles, conducting objective competency assessments, and providing appropriate coaching and feedback to workplace learners.

Program Advantages

The program integrates training delivery with the actual requirements of workplace competency development, enabling participants to produce practical training documents and demonstrate trainer capability through workplace simulations and assessment. Participants develop the capability to implement structured, measurable, and competency-based workplace learning while supporting the implementation of SIGL within the organization.
