This competency-based training develops participants’ ability to read, interpret, create, and apply engineering drawings for manufacturing activities. The program emphasizes drawing standards, technical representation, dimensions and tolerances, section and assembly views, and practical interpretation of drawings for machining, fabrication, inspection, and production processes.
Method
Classroom instruction, guided technical drawing exercises, drawing interpretation practice, hands-on assignments, case studies, and competency-based practical assessment.
Requirements
Basic understanding of mathematics and technical terminology.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is recommended.
Ability to read and work with technical documents.
Target Participants
Vocational students, production operators, machining personnel, quality/inspection personnel, maintenance personnel, engineering staff, and vocational instructors who require practical engineering drawing competencies for manufacturing applications.
