CNC Turn-Mill Technology Operator Program for Production Readiness

Program Description

This program develops participants’ competence to operate CNC turn-mill technology in a production environment. The training progresses from CNC turning and milling fundamentals to technical drawing interpretation, tooling and workholding, CNC programming, machining parameter selection, machine setup, production operation, dimensional inspection, troubleshooting, and integrated production of precision components.

Method

Instructor-led technical instruction, demonstrations, and guided discussions.
Hands-on practice using CNC turn-mill machines, cutting tools, workholding equipment, and measuring instruments.
Production-oriented exercises, troubleshooting, quality inspection, and competency-based project assessment.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of mechanical machining and workshop safety.
Basic ability to read engineering drawings and perform machining-related calculations.
Basic familiarity with CNC machining concepts is recommended.

  • 5.1 Development and preparation of a complete turn-mill machining process from an engineering drawing.
