General Occupational Safety & Health Expert

Program Description

This program develops participants’ competency in managing occupational safety and health (OSH/K3) risks across industrial and workplace environments. Participants learn fundamental OSH principles, hazard identification and risk assessment, workplace safety controls, emergency preparedness, incident management, and safety monitoring to support a proactive and compliant safety culture.

Method

Instructor-led technical sessions, discussions, demonstrations, case studies, hazard identification exercises, risk assessment practices, workplace safety simulations, and competency-based assessment.

Requirements

Basic understanding of workplace operations and industrial processes.
Familiarity with workplace safety practices is recommended.
Ability to analyze workplace conditions and participate in practical safety exercises.

Target Participants

HSE/K3 officers, safety supervisors, production and maintenance personnel, engineers, supervisors, team leaders, HR personnel responsible for workplace safety, and personnel assigned to occupational safety and health functions.

Learning Output

Participants are able to identify workplace hazards, assess occupational risks, determine appropriate control measures, support the implementation and monitoring of OSH programs, and respond appropriately to common workplace emergencies and safety incidents in accordance with applicable requirements.
