Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate Preparation Program
Back to ServicesProgram Description
This competency-based preparation program develops the knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively with SOLIDWORKS and prepare for the CSWA examination. Participants progressively practice sketching, part modeling, parametric design, assemblies, engineering drawings, mass properties, and design modifications through structured exercises based on typical CSWA examination tasks.
Method
Instructor-led demonstrations, guided hands-on SOLIDWORKS exercises, examination-oriented practice, individual modeling challenges, timed simulations, troubleshooting, and practical competency assessment.
Requirements
Basic understanding of engineering drawing and mechanical design principles.
Basic computer operation and 3D CAD concepts.
Participants should have access to a computer/laptop with a compatible SOLIDWORKS installation.
Target Participants
Suitable for engineering students, mechanical engineering personnel, CAD designers, technicians, vocational students, and beginner-to-intermediate SOLIDWORKS users who intend to prepare for the CSWA certification examination.
Learning Output
Participants are able to create and modify parametric SOLIDWORKS models, construct basic assemblies and engineering drawings, evaluate model properties, and complete CSWA-oriented modeling tasks accurately and efficiently under examination conditions.
Program Advantages
The program provides focused preparation for CSWA certification by combining essential SOLIDWORKS modeling competencies with examination-style exercises, time management, accuracy checks, and practical problem-solving, helping participants build confidence and readiness for the certification examination.
