Program Description

This program develops participants' competence in designing electrical systems for solar photovoltaic (PV) applications. The training progresses from fundamental PV and electrical concepts to system configuration, load analysis, component selection, electrical calculations, protection, wiring, and preparation of a complete solar panel electrical design suitable for renewable energy applications.

Method

Instructor-led technical presentation and interactive discussion.
Demonstration and guided design exercises using engineering calculations and design tools.
Case studies and project-based learning involving the development and evaluation of a solar PV electrical design.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and electrical safety.
Basic understanding of electrical calculations, voltage, current, power, and energy.
Familiarity with basic engineering drawings or electrical diagrams is recommended.
