Energy Audit for Industrial Efficiency
Back to ServicesProgram Description
This competency-based training develops participants’ ability to conduct energy audits in industrial facilities and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency. Participants learn to understand energy systems and consumption patterns, collect and analyze energy data, perform measurements and calculations, identify energy-saving opportunities, and formulate technically and economically feasible efficiency recommendations.
Method
Instructor-led technical sessions and interactive discussions
Case studies, energy data analysis, calculations, and measurement exercises
Project-based energy audit and presentation of improvement recommendations
Requirements
Basic knowledge of engineering, energy systems, or industrial processes
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret technical data
Target Participants
Energy managers and energy auditors
Electrical, mechanical, utility, maintenance, and production engineers/technicians
Facility and building management personnel
Vocational teachers, lecturers, and instructors in engineering fields
Professionals responsible for industrial energy efficiency and sustainability
Learning Output
Participants are able to conduct a structured industrial energy audit by establishing an energy baseline, collecting and analyzing consumption data, performing appropriate measurements and calculations, identifying energy-saving opportunities, and developing prioritized recommendations based on technical feasibility and potential economic benefits.
Program Advantages
The program combines energy audit methodology with practical industrial analysis, enabling participants to move from energy consumption assessment to actionable efficiency improvements. Participants develop the ability to use measurement and data as the basis for identifying losses, evaluating energy-saving opportunities, and supporting investment decisions for industrial efficiency projects.
