This program is designed to enhance Workplace Trainers’ ability to conduct competency assessments systematically, objectively, and based on workplace standards. Participants develop practical skills in work observation, competency-based assessment rubric development, participant logbook review, and task-based assessment using activities that reflect real workplace performance. The program also supports the implementation of SIGL through measurable and accountable competency evaluation.
Method
Blended learning combining competency-assessment theory, practical work observation and assessment, rubric-development workshops, industry-based case studies, and workplace assessment simulations.
Requirements
1. Understand the work processes within their respective work units.
2. Have experience in training or workplace coaching.
3. Have been or will be involved in evaluating internship participants.
Target Participants
1. Workplace Trainers (PTK).
2. Production Supervisors / Leaders.
3. HR / Training Officers.
4. Internal company Assessors.
Learning Output
Participants are able to conduct objective and standardized competency assessments using appropriate assessment methods, systematically observe and document workplace performance, review participant learning logbooks, develop competency-based assessment rubrics, and validate competency achievement through task-based assessment.
Program Advantages
This program strengthens Workplace Trainers’ practical assessment capability by providing direct practice in observation, rubric development, logbook analysis, and task-based assessment, enabling competency decisions to be more objective, standardized, measurable, and accountable within the workplace and SIGL framework.
